I’m Albion Byrd, the creator of Skandinavien, an immersive dark Nordic horror audio series crafted entirely by myself over four years. From writing and voice acting to composing music, producing, designing, and marketing, every aspect of this series is a product of my own hands and my obsession with creating something truly chilling and unique.

I’ve been fascinated by the power of audio storytelling since I was young. Growing up, shows like War of the Worlds, Storyteller, and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy didn’t just entertain me, they blew my mind. They showed me that sound isn’t just a voice telling a story; it can create entire worlds that you can step into, lose yourself in, and live inside for hours. That sense of immersion stayed with me and inspired me to take storytelling to the next level.

With a background in music and acting, I wanted to craft something independently, where I had full creative control. I poured my passion into Skandinavien, blending voice, music, and sound design to create an experience that isn’t just listened to it’s felt. Every scene is built to be immersive, unsettling, and unforgettable.

Skandinavien isn’t on Spotify, Audible, or any mainstream platform. It’s a fully independent production, made with care for fans who want something beyond typical horror. A series that envelops you in dark Nordic landscapes, mysterious atmospheres, and haunting stories that linger long after the audio ends.
