really interesting and cool concept but it never tied together.
Excellent audio production and is definitely an entire experience with special emphasis on atmosphere

Dark, eerie, and deeply atmospheric, Skandinavien is an immersive audio drama that leans fully into mystery, gore, and horror. The sound design is easily its strongest asset, layered, cinematic, and genuinely unsettling, and I believe I haven't had a pleasure of listening anything quite like it until now. The music and effects create a constant sense of dread; the shifting tones from quiet isolation to full audio chaos are impressive, imo.
That said, I was left with a few unanswered questions and moments that weren't entirely clear. I'll stay spoiler-free (I don't know where this review will show up, so I'd prefer to not spoil this listening experience), but certain plot elements and transitions felt slightly disjointed, which made it harder for me to fully grasp the bigger picture by the end. Still, if you enjoy moody, experimental horror with incredible sound work and a truly creepy atmosphere, this is 100% worth a listen.
